This is Northern California's oldest and largest outdoor bargain center, Denio's Roseville Farmers Market, where hundreds of independent vendors are pursuing the American Dream. These entrepreneurs make it their business to seek out the best products at the best prices to give the consumer the best of all worlds.
Making it possible to reach for the American Dream is nothing new for Denio's Roseville Farmers Market. Founder Jim Denio started it all in 1947. Today, Denio's is still at the same location and under the same family ownership. The idea of a simple and safe place to buy family bargains has grown far beyond the family's dreams.
The 80 acre complex features many covered and open spaces filled with new merchandise for the home and family, hundreds of flea market tables, a huge produce market and acres of paved parking.

Much has changed since 1947. But much remains the same. Many of the independent vendors who originally sold their produce and other wares were building new lives for their families in America. Many have prospered and their families continue the tradition at Denio's. From weathered veterans to newcomers, all share the desire to succeed.

Denio's also remains a family affair with three generations on hand to keep it all running smoothly. Jim's son Ken Denio is now the president of the company. Daughter Tracie and son Eric have also been with the company for several years now.

"As you can see families are important to us at Denio's" comments Ken Denio. Extra efforts are made to attract them. Food is available at reasonable prices. Homemade corn dogs remain a staple for the younger set. On a busy weekend, Denio's sells thousands of these batter dipped treats.

"We have something for everyone, from the oldest to the youngest," said Ken Denio. "Come on out with your family."
